Vikings sign Jerome Felton, Host Ted Ginn, Jr.

FB Jerome Felton has found a new home with the Minnesota Vikings today. He will be competing with Ryan D'Imperio for the starting FB position once the season starts. Felton is entering his 5th season, following up after starting with the Lions, then Panthers, and finally the Colts. Backfield depth could be complete with this signing and yesterday's signing of RB Lex Hilliard. And since this is such a big name singing *cough, cough*, I won't go into a lot of detail here. In additional news, Guion's deal is now official. It had been previously agreed to (3years/$9 mil) but had not yet been signed until today. Also, The Vikings hosted former 49ers WR Ted Ginn, Jr. I'm not a huge fan of this, but after looking at it from another perspective, it would be a great special teams signing. It would allow him to go to KR/PR, competing with Marcus Sherels and allowing Harvin to focus on his role as the teams most important WR. However, an offer has not been extended to him as of yet, that I've heard of anyway, so that's just a thought. More updates to come as the Vikings continue to sign such big names to such important roles.
